The second day of our New Jersey Boot Camp continued today with even more attendees joining us virtually from all over the world!

Day 2 Recap:
 
We started day 2 today with our Platinum Sponsor CompTIA’s Keynote Presentation focused on growing your business better with a CompTIA membership.

We continued our CEO, Sales and Marketing Tracks and kicked off our Service Delivery Track and CompTIA’s Healthcare IT Foundations Workshop. Our Healthcare IT curriculum was enhanced by an informative HIT Expert Panel Session with panelists Jill Kerr from CompTIA, Patrick Wilson from Vital Signs, Ron Pennell from Foothills IT and Steve Rutkovitz from Choice Technologies. Next up, Deegan Pope from Cornerstone delivered a valuable session focused on 5 ways to dramatically increase Managed Services sales. 
 
Our day ended with a great Cocktail Reception courtesy of CompTIA, followed by their Board Room session.

We kick off our third and final day tomorrow at 8am with a Presentation from MSP University’s Erick Simpson focused on Improving the Sales Professional’s and Sales Engineer’s Synergies to Close Opportunities Faster, so log in early and be prepared to start our last day strong!
 
Next we have our Service Delivery Expert Panel queued up with panelists from Autotask, Dove Help Desk, Live Virtual Help Desk and Synergy, and we’ll finish the day with a group presentation focused on How to effectively On-Board New Managed Services Clients For Maximum Efficiencies and Customer Satisfaction.

MSP University New Jersey Boot Camp Day 1 Recap

What a great first day to kick off our New Jersey Boot Camp! Our streaming sessions were a big hit, with attendees joining us virtually from all over the world!

This Boot Camp has been tailored to cover specific areas in 8 areas of IT solution provider and managed services practice improvement:

We started the day off with opening comments followed by the Keynote Presentation from our Platinum Sponsor Autotask, focused on growing product sales to increase business profitability.

During our sessions today we covered marketing, sales, increasing business profitability, our healthcare IT team development plan, HIT Agencies and Associations, HIPAA and the 5 steps we would take first to start up a brand new MSP Practice, as well as understanding and using DISC Behavioral Profiles for Hiring Right and Team Building and Pricing Managed Services and Determining True Service Delivery Costs (a lively session where we worked as a team to dive deep into the math).

A big thanks go out to Joe Gillette from Stage 2 Networks, David Beagle from M5 Networks and Robert Marschall from Broadview Networks for delivering a great Telephony Expert Panel Session covering the definition of Cloud Communications, the landscape and opportunity and how to position Telephony Services and Solutions in your stack. In addition, we received valuable presentations from Lester Keizer of Xilocore for his eye-opening session on leveraging E-rate to sell to the Education Vertical and the Worker’s Investment Act that subsidizes your hiring of new employees that were unemployed and George Sierchio from Action Business Partners for his captivating session on Selling your Organization as an Exit Strategy and Mike Sappington from gloStream for how to Build a Healthcare IT Practice to Generate Years of Profitable, Recurring Revenue.

Our day ended with a great Cocktail Reception courtesy of Autotask, followed by their Board Room session.
 
We kick tomorrow off at 7am PST with a Presentation from our Platinum Sponsor CompTIA in the main room, so arrive early and be prepared for our second full day of training and education, where we add our Service Delivery track. We have our HIT Expert Panel queued up with panelists from Foothills IT, Choice Technologies, Vital Signs and CompTIA, followed by a presentation from Deegan Pope from Cornerstone Backup for his 5 proven ways to dramatically increase Managed Services sales and MSP University’s session on how to accelerate your business success through our partnership with you.
